According to talkSPORT, Agbonlahor believes that Dominic Calvert-Lewin is no longer at the level to represent England and should not be included in manager Tuchel's upcoming squad. He also believes that Ollie Watkins and Ivan Toney are better striker options.
Tuchel will announce his first squad for England on Friday, before the team faces a three-week international break.
Rangers legend Ali McCoist praised Calvert-Lewin's performance against Newcastle. He said, "Calvert-Lewin is really strong when he's in good form. He's very difficult to deal with and is particularly good at making runs from the blind side of the center-backs, getting out of the defensive line of sight, and leaving the opponent no time to jump or contest for the ball. I think he did that very, very well."
However, Agborahjo insisted that Calvert-Lewin should not be included in the England squad, saying: "I just feel that he does not meet my requirements for England strikers, I really think so."
Later, Agborahjo was asked if he still considered Toni and Watkins to be better than Calvert-Lewin. He replied, "I think they are better than Calvert-Lewin, and I feel they bring something different. Last night he was a great target man, listen, that header should actually have been his goal. His second goal, the one Alli and I both think he scored, was very well executed. But I just feel that Calvert-Lewin is still missing something."
