According to The Athletic, Tottenham have lost a lot of leadership in recent transfer windows, which at least partly explains their determination to sign Robertson.
Fortunately for Tottenham, one of Robertson's greatest strengths is his positive attitude.
Robertson's former Liverpool teammate, Kelleher, commented on him in this way.
“He will be outstanding,” Kelleher said after facing Robertson following Tottenham’s 0-3 defeat to Brentford. “He is very experienced, has won every trophy, he is a winner, and he is also a very good person. He is very positive, he has been the captain of Scotland and the vice-captain of Liverpool. He will lead them in the right direction.”
