Despite reports linking the Dutch manager to Saudi professional league clubs, the Liverpool Echo understands that Slot is currently prioritizing remaining in European club football. Last month, Fulham briefly mentioned a possible quick return to the Premier League, but Álvaro Arbeloa was subsequently named as Marco Silva's successor, who has since joined Benfica.
The Dutchman has also been linked with AC Milan and is considered a likely candidate to take over the Dutch national team after Ronald Koeman's departure following the World Cup.

The team's second season in Merseyside was disappointing, losing a total of 20 games across all competitions, which led to his dismissal.
However, in an open letter to fans written through the Liverpool Echo after his dismissal, Sloot insisted that a new generation of players was ready to take on more responsibility for bringing greater success to the club.
He wrote: "Liverpool's 20th league title belongs to all of us, and it will forever be an important chapter in the club's history. We should all be proud of it."
