According to the Daily Mail, data released by Peru's national registry shows that more than 500 babies in Peru have been named Harland.
A total of 468 newborns were named Haaland, and another 91 were named Erling Haaland.
The 1.96-meter-tall Scandinavian center, whose full name is Erling Brout Haaland, has also been used by the four newborns.
"Different football stars inspire Peruvians to register their children with these names," Ivan Torres, a spokesman for Peru's National Registry, told Panamericana television.

Torres added that as Norway progressed through the tournament, the number of names registered increased significantly, and he joked, "Haaland is also Peruvian."
However, according to official Peruvian statistics, Haaland is still far behind the most famous idols in the World Cup in terms of inspiring newborn naming.
Topping the list is Brazilian football star Neymar, with 33,812 newborns named after him. After a disappointing World Cup, the star appears poised to retire from the national team.
Haaland's long break is coming to an end. He has been allowed to miss the team's Asian tour, but is expected to return to Manchester City on August 16 ahead of their Community Shield match against Arsenal at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
