The English Football Association (FA) issued a brief statement after UEFA announced a possible boycott of FIFA events, opposing FIFA President Gianni Infantino's plan to push private investors into a company specifically set up to manage major events such as the World Cup.
The English Football Association stated: "We stand in solidarity with our European counterparts and fully support our shared position. We oppose FIFA's plans: the World Cup belongs to football, and that will never change."
